Do you have a junk drawer? A place where you toss all of those things that you know you will need someday? This is the time to see what treasures have accumulated…discarded thimbles, old keys, bits of chain, broken charms, ancient postage stamps or postcards, miscellaneous hardware (especially brass or copper), maybe a watch that stopped working during the Carter administration, discarded game pieces, or maybe some odd tokens or foreign coins. These trinkets are fodder for steampunk! In this class, you’ll learn how to transform your keepsakes into trendy jewelry. It’s fun! It’s funky! And it’s a great way to create a timeless piece reminiscent of life before the worldwide web.Instructor: Judy Bush
